Rescue From Height - Basic
Our Rescue from Height course is taught by expert instructors with experience in the industry and can be carried out at our training facility in Kent in the Southeast of the UK or at your site if the facilities and structure are suitable. Cost for training at your site may vary.

To give delegates already trained in Work at Height the basic required theoretical knowledge and practical skills to be able to rescue a person suspended or incapacitated at height, where they can be raised or lowered directly up or down to a safe area.
Course Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will be able to:
- Understand and explain the importance of emergency and rescue plans for work at height, including the potential dangers of suspension in a harness
- Identify a safe place and system of work at height for a rescue
- Recognise hazards and dangerous situations whilst carrying out a rescue
- Understand the importance of inspection, care and maintenance of rescue equipment
- Select, pre-use inspect, set up and use a rescue system
- Rescue a casualty in suspension following a fall
- Rescue a casualty incapacitated at height from sudden sickness or injury
Participants Will Receive:
- Certificate lasting 3 years
- Direct support from the Guardian training team and Guardian Fall customer service
Important Information:
Health:
All personnel participating in Safety Training shall be medically fit and capable of fully participating. Delegates will be required to sign a statement stating that they are medically fit to participate in safety training and that they do not suffer from any medical illness or are under influence of any narcotic substance or alcohol.
